FEAR 3 is a horror game released in 2011. The game was developed by Day 1 Studios and published by Warner Bros. The game is set after the events of the first two games and follows the story of Point Man and his F.E.A.R. team as they fight their way through a city overrun by supernatural forces. 

While the game has some jump scares, the focus is more on the atmosphere and the fear that comes with being in the dark. The game also has a co-operative mode where players can team up and play through the campaign together.

The game was well-received by critics and is considered one of the better horror games of the last few years. Fear of the unknown is a theme that is explored in the game. The player is constantly wondering what is around the next corner and what is going to happen. This makes for a very suspenseful and scary experience. The game also looks at the fear of death. The player knows that death is possible at every turn, which makes the game scarier.
